The Barnacles of Piccadilly
Does anyone remember The Barnacles in Piccadilly?
El Piano on Grape Lane
El Piano was popular with York's vegetarian and vegan crowd. There is no doubt that it was ahead of its time!
Plunkett of High Petergate
Plunkets is another York restaurant that has served thousands of happy customers over the years.
Old Orleans at Low Ousegate
This is the perfect place to enjoy a little Cajun food and a lively Louisiana night.

Le Lange
The restaurant started in Goodrumgate before moving to larger premises in Peasholm Green, where it gained a following with its authentic Italian cuisine.
Harvils of Fosgate
Fosgate's Harvills has a distinctive black and white and Art Deco design. It was the perfect place for Steak Recall readers.
