Quickline Broadband is already available to the West Yorkshire community. The Provider currently deploys full fiber broadband to more than 28,000 homes and businesses in the region as part of the government's Project Gigabit contract awarded in 2024.
Project Gigabit is the UK government deploying lightning fast and reliable broadband across the UK. The program targets homes and businesses that are not included in broadband companies' commercial plans, reaching some countries that would otherwise be overlooked.
As one of the largest Project Gigabit Regional Delivery Partners, the contract totals around £300 million in public subsidies, and Quickline will play a leading role in closing the digital gap that exists between urban and rural areas. It's there.
