Plans to build a drive-through cafe on a long vacant site off Thornton Road were approved by Bradford City Council earlier this year.
The application by M17 Projects Ltd involved plans to build apartments on nearby land.
The site is currently up for sale, and prospective buyers have been told that work on the Starbucks is expected to be completed by Harcrum Group in the fall.
According to estate agents Mark Brearley & Company, the successful buyer of the property will receive £95,000 a year in rent from Starbucks and a further £30,000 a year from E.On, which operates an EV charging point on site. He said he would receive a rent of £2,800.
The two parties signed a 20-year lease for the location.
The property listing states, “This property is located on Thornton Road, which has 22,881 vehicle traffic each day.
“The site will include a retail store, 26 parking bays, eight EV charging bays, a disabled parking bay and a waiting order bay.
“In terms of more space, a new petrol station and shop is being developed directly adjacent, and a new £40m Bradford Energy Network ‘Energy Center’ is planned at the rear of the site. There is.”
