North Yorkshire Police are suing witnesses and drivers in footage from Dashcam after the assault and criminal damage incident that occurred in Scarborough last month.
It was held on Marine Drive on Saturday, March 29th at 7:13pm, when a man reportedly ousted a woman from the curb after throwing phones and other property into the sea.
I recommend reading:
“Emergency personnel attended and treated the woman for her injuries in the fall. Further evaluations revealed bruises to the arm, leg and body that could be linked to other incidents,” a unit spokesperson said.
At the time of the incident, the man was wearing black pants, a gray top with black sleeves on the front, a black hat, and a medium tan dog.
Police say they are “particularly eager to hear from drivers who were in the area at the time, especially those who may need to avoid them when they fall on the road.
I'm also looking for other dashcam footage and useful information for research.
The 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the assault and released on bail while enquiries continued.
