York will continue to sprint through his busy National League schedule as he travels to Maidenhead tonight (7:45pm), picking up the first of two matches at the top barnett at the table.
City recalls memories of his previous encounter with Maidenhead, who won the Magpie 6-2 in November, but Hinshelwood is hoping for a different kind of contest on York Road.
The recent form of rise of Alan Devonshire's men has seen their leveling at points of safety, but only remains in the demoting zone due to differences in goals.
This comes after defeats with Yeovil Town and Barnet, which have only two losses in the past six league matches.
Hinshelwood is therefore wary of the threat Maidenhead poses to his York squad, but is intended to focus on what his side is capable of producing.
“It's really big. It's a completely different game and I don't really analyze it from my previous encounters because it's going to be a completely different game,” Hinshelwood elaborated.
“We see their recent home form and they will be disappointed with the outcome against Yeovil from Saturday, but they are bounced back and trying to get it right.
“We said ourselves, I know it's a big game and a big opportunity to score some points.
“We make sure we really focus on ourselves and come up with a game plan that does everything we can with three points.
“It makes the Saturday points even better if we can come and come three points away from home Tuesday night.
“It's a difficult place to go, they're used to their pitch and they play well as another opposite there, so that's going to be a really tough question.
“We know that if we can go back to what we can, we can give a good explanation of ourselves.”
Hinshelwood's main focus at the Maiden Head Challenge is to keep the intensity high after being disappointed in admitting two in three minutes against FC Halifaxtown on Saturday.
Hinshelwood expects a response from Maidenhead after a 2-0 defeat to Yeovil on Saturday, and therefore hopes to defend his goals from his players.
He told the media:
“It's under the lighting on Tuesday night and they'll really fantasize about their chances and stand up to the game.
“We have to match their strength. We've been praised for not being our strength and soft touch. And now we have to show it in all games It won't be.
“It has to be our starter block for our performance, strength, work rate and attack.
“We are eager to stick to our goals. It must be a starter block. Plus, if we can find some quality in what we own and in our play , that would be a real bonus.”
This afternoon, Devonshire is the opposition party, and has been in charge of Maidenhead since 2015.
Devonshire, who represented England at the international level and became a West Ham United icon as a player, has experienced his role in his role in the quality magpie that Hinshelwood believes will use in his advantage on Tuesday evening. Brings a bag.
“We've seen his team play many times and we only tried him once this year, and it was a good encounter.
“We were happy with the outcome that day, but we know that someone with Alan's experience is revenging it and trying to make it right.”
