The second half penalty from Ollie Pearce tallied at 25 in all competitions and gave York three points in the farthest match of the season at Huish Park.
Hinshelwood believes that Hinshelwood believes in Hinshelwood. This comes after City struggled to work in a massive portion of conflicting goalkeeper Aiduntone, similar to his matches against Altrinchum and Forest Green Rover in recent weeks.
Hinshelwood hopes that the standard will rise again by his players once again after returning to the winning method as Yeovil refused to water the pitch to make the playing surface more obstacles.
“It was a fierce battle. When the home team does nothing against the pitch, when water does nothing either, I think it's the ultimate compliment,” Hinshelwood responded.
“They want to try something as resilient and difficult to play as possible, so that's a compliment.
“We owned it, but I just told the young people out there that our demands had to go up a little.
“We think we are better than the 1-0 Ollie Pierce penalty in a game like this, so we have to find our way.
Yeovil Town 0-1 York City:
“Whether it's an extra pass in the final third or more moves, we have to find a way to win a game like this.
“In the first half, if there were too many diagonal passes, we were working the ball left and right.
“As for the amount of football we have, we have to ultimately work more for goalkeepers and create more opportunities.
“That is definitely something we should work on.
“In the last nine games, I want to continue improving and be better. Create more opportunities and 'Find out a way to work with Keeper more.'
Yeovil was surprisingly defensive in the home patch and did not register his first attempt at goal until the 49th minute. This was an effort that far surpassed the goal of Harrison's men.
Hinshelwood admitted that he saw Yeovil as a tribute for his careful performance against the city side, but he also understands why he chose to take such an approach after recent results.
The York manager added:
“You sometimes see such performances in our places. It was like an away performance from them.
“They shipped a lot of goals, so when it was like you had to be patient, they wanted to keep it firmly in the back.
“I think we need to get better by working the ball in more movement and better areas, as I say.”
Pierce's penalty in the 57th minute tallyed the season with 25, where 23 came to the National League.
Like previous penalties taken by the strikers, Hinshelwood was not able to be seen by the bystanders as Pierce drove the strike.
“No, I faced the other way around and saw the reaction from the bench.
“I was clearly pleased when they were jumping up!
“He's been doing it over and over as a manager, and I think it's now a goal in 23 leagues. That's a few tallys.
“I'm really happy to go back to maintaining a clean sheet, that's 16, 17. This is a really good return.
“We want to continue improving, be solid and put more demands on ourselves.”
