“The Dream Continues” has been made by part of Magic Entertainment, including performances by Dutch violinists and composers, along with Johann's Strauss Orchestra, at venues in New York to Vienna and other locations.
“The Dream Continues” will be exhibited at more than 500 cinemas in the UK on April 12th and 13th – including Picturehouse York, Cineworld York and Vue York.
It includes a production of “Music of the Night” from “The Phantom of the Opera” in New York. “Belongs to Me” in front of Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna, sung by the musical “Elizabeth.” And then there was a performance of “Pie Jess” by Mr. Lieu of Maasricht and his brother Robert.
Encore performances include “When the rain starts falling”, “I Survive”, “Una Paloma Blanca”, and “I Survive”.
The Dream Continues, hosted by Charlotte Hawkins of Good Morning Britain, also features intimate conversations with Rieu, including anecdotes and reflections on his journey.
A spokesperson described the film as “a homage to Andre's lifelong dreams and a homage to forming his own orchestra, making classical music accessible to viewers around the world.”
