North Yorkshire police are appealing for an elderly man to move forward after the attack at Ripon Bus Station earlier this week.
They say the attack took place on Tuesday (April 15) from 9:10am to 9:45am after a drunk man got on a bus traveling between Harrogate and Ripon.

After getting off at Ripon Bus Station (Moss Arcade), he is reportedly abusive, threatening other publics who were waiting for boarding, and ultimately assaulting an elderly man.
The elderly left the area before police arrived and have not yet been identified.
“The suspect has been identified and will soon be dealt with crimes of public order. I would like to identify an unknown elderly man to allow him to pursue an assault case on his behalf,” a unit spokesperson said.
