Officers rushed to Foston Lane, Fagley, just before 6am this morning after receiving reports of a firearm being discharged.
They confirmed that no one was hurt and no damage was caused.
A police cordon was set up to allow for further investigation.

A force spokesperson said: “At 5.45am today (Saturday) police received reports of a firearm being discharged at an address in Foston Lane, Bradford.
“Armed officers were dispatched to the scene, but no injuries were reported and no damage was confirmed.
“A forum was set up for further investigation, but it was later closed.
“The investigation into this incident is ongoing.”
