Centrepiece is the Radio 2 Love Brass concert held at St. George's Hall in Bradford on Friday, April 11th as part of the BBC's British Cultural District celebration.
The concert will air on Radio 2, and the BBC will air Sunday, April 20th from 8pm to 10pm.
Jeremy Vine will be broadcasting the show live from Bradford on the day of the concert (April 11th) from 12pm to 2pm. He celebrates the history of urban brass bands, rooted in the success of the district's factories and factories, according to a spokesperson.
The program features performances by the historic Hammond Band (founded as the Saltaire Band in 1855) and performances of the Bantams of the Bradford City Fan Opera Choir.
Elsewhere, Radio 2's Zoeball will showcase a variety of performers to launch Big Brass Blowout, a weekend festival celebrating Bradford's brass music scene.
Performers include the Black Dyke Band, Pop Act Maruti Perro, Soprano Kaly Paoli, Punja Brutz Academy and the Choir of Bradford Cathedral.
The festival features a wide range of music, from Delius' compositions to Banglabeto.
A new committee from modern brass bandwriter Peter Graham is also performed to celebrate Bradford's 19th-century relationship with the Atlantic in the 19th century.

In another programme, Bradford, Brass and The Beatles, Radio 2's Tony Blackburn reflects on key moments in Bradford's musical history.
The program is available on BBC Sound from Wednesday, April 9th, and aired on Radio 2 later that month, with the story of a 1963 concert in Bradford probably marking the beginning of Beatlemania.
In 1962, the Beatles reached only No. 17 on the charts in 1962 along with Love Me Do.
However, after a performance on the TV show, after thanking Lucky Stars, they were booked to join the upcoming tour – their first show took place at Gaumont Cinema in Bradford.
Just four days later, shoot the chart number 2.
Finally, Top Brass, dubbed “The Bravest Show in The Airwaves,” returned to Radio 2 in April, announced by Trumpet Virtuoso James Morrison.
