Beacon is a portable arts hub where you can spend a month at a time at four parks, hosting arts, theatres and musical events in Bradford.
The first location is Wibsey Park, which starts on Thursday, April 3rd and runs until May 5th.

This super convenient venue will be built and rebuilt everywhere. and will be based in Bowling Park from May 22nd to June 22nd, Cliff Castle Park in Kaley from July 10th to August 10th, and Lister Park from August 28th to September 28th.
Bradford Culture Company has been licensed to Wibsey Park. This allows the company to host entertainment from 9am to late night and serve alcohol from noon to 11pm.
Bradford Culture Company said: “From weekday shows and weekend festivals to clubs, classes, family activities and neighborhood gatherings, there are headline acts, music, comedy and more with bespoke programs.

Each location's bespoke programme includes headline acts, weekday shows, weekend festivals, family activities and neighborhood gatherings.
Bradford's premier break dance crew Tranquil Productions will be presenting a high-energy show and dance workshop called Clean North to launch the festivities at Wibsey Park this Thursday (April 3).

On Friday, April 4th, Wibsey venue will celebrate international Roman Day, announced by European Drom CIC.
People are invited to join the Roman community in Bradford for a day of performances and activities that celebrate Roman culture.
There is storytelling, poetry, Roman folk music, dance and traditional Roman cuisine.

On Saturday, April 5th, folk musician Eliza Carthy, the queen of British folk music, visits Beacon for a rare solo show in Bradford.
The Big Beacon Family Welcome event, Friday, April 11th, will include afternoon workshops, activities and performances during school holidays.
On Saturday, April 19th, Beacon presents the night with Jackie Dunquworth, who is recognized as one of the best jazz singers in the UK.
Easter Sunday Fans will be held on April 20th at a Christian event together at a Widgie and Butter Show/Shelf featuring creative activities, games and Easter Egg Hunts.
The final Wibsey event on Monday, May 5th will be Bradford Belles, bringing the new Walkabout Street Performance to the beacon.
