Founded in 2013, Black Sheep Coffee currently has over 70 branches around the world, reaching as far as the United States and the Philippines.
The specialty coffee chain is known as the first coffee chain in the world to use specialty grade Robusta coffee beans instead of the more commonly used Arabica.
The move to York comes after clothing store Lambretta moved from Black Sheep Coffee's new base on the corner of Spurriergate and High Ousegate.
The restaurant offers a selection of coffees, waffles and cocktails. We also sell our own coffee beans, gifts, and goods.
In the case of High Ousegate, Black Sheep Coffee arrived shortly after another hospitality chain opened, which is rapidly evolving into Rudy's Pizza a few streets down the road.
