Bradford South Neighborhood Policing Team (NPT) and Steerside Enforcement Team – West Yorkshire Police's dedicated initiative to tackle anti-social and dangerous driving – collaborated last Friday and Saturday.

A spokesman for the Bradford South NPT said: “Intelligence is being fed into the operation by Bradford borough councillors from members of the community.”
The team was at Wibsey and Royds & Buttershaw on Friday, followed by Queensbury on Saturday.
In total, 10 tickets were issued to people who were not wearing seat belts over two days. 9 for speeding, “unprescription glass”, for windows in eight shades, two to use a mobile phone, and two tickets were issued using a mobile phone. .

The largest percentage of tickets was handed out at Royds & Buttershaw (28), with 16 issued at Queensbury and Widsey respectively.
Officers also seized four vehicles for documentary crimes. Two are Royds & Buttershaw and two are Queensbury.
Three intelligence forms have been submitted for development, focusing on repeated offenders.
