Bradford Music Scene, an online movement championing live music and talent in the borough, has announced that a special ceremony will be held on January 30, 2025.
All candidates must live in a Bradford postcode or have strong connections to Bradford. Non-Bradford artists or bands must have performed at least four gigs in the Bradford area between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024.
Categories include Artist of the Year (original music), Band of the Year (original music), Cover Artist/Cover Band of the Year, Album/EP of the Year (original music), Includes Single/Song of the Year (original music) , Sound/Lighting Engineer of the Year, Producer of the Year, Promoter of the Year, Small Bradford Venue of the Year (up to 100 people), Medium Bradford Venue of the Year (over 100 people), Outstanding Contribution Winner of Best Bradford Open Mic Award and People's Choice Award.
All nominations count as votes, and final decisions in each category are made by an industry-led committee.
The panel will narrow down the winners selected from the top five nominees.
The People's Choice award is determined purely on the basis of public nominations.
The award ceremony will be hosted by The Underground.
