Eastern England, Eastern England, Northwest England, Yorkshire and Humber are all expected to reduce visibility below 100 metres, so this morning there is a yellow weather warning.
Commuters have been warned to prepare for “dense fog” on the road this morning, which could cause delays.
The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for the eastern and western England. This warning covers the Eastern England, Northeast and Northwest England, Yorkshire and the East Midlands of Humber.
“Fost can lead to dense locations and delays in travel,” the national forecaster explained. The warning covers the area where the airport is located and there is a possibility of flight cancellation.
In locations, the foggy area dramatically reduces visibility to less than 100 meters (328 feet). During the morning, the mist lifts up and cleans.

Met Office advised people to give them the chance to better opportunities to avoid delays by checking road conditions, leaving extra travel time, and modifying plans as needed. Drivers should also change the way they turn on their fog lights before they leave in the morning to make sure they are working.
“Bus and train services, flight and ferry trips can also be affected. Please check the latest information from travel agencies and follow the advice,” Met Office said.
“Be prepared for changing weather warnings. If a weather warning is issued, Met Office recommends that you stay up to date with weather forecasts in your area.”
In another post, the forecaster advised that “moving through the fog can be extremely dangerous.”
“If visibility is expected to fall below 200 meters, a thick fog warning will be issued. If visibility is below 50 meters, serious disruption in transportation will occur.”
The forecaster issued specific advice for traveling under these conditions.
Avoid travel if the full beam light reflects the fog and causes the effect of “white walls” with the immersion headlights. Pavement, roads, cars, etc. You can quickly form a layer of ice.
