Brunswick Organic Nursery Shop in Bishopthorpe has been named the best retailer in the Farm Shop Small category at the Farm Shop and Deli Retailer Awards.
One of the judges' comments was, “The highlight is how they are great work in the community and how they can help and enable people with learning disabilities to redeem and that they should become independent through opportunities and be thoroughly praised.”
“We've had a lot of fun,” said Katherine Southwood, shop manager at Brunswick Organic Nursery.
“The hard work and dedication of everyone at Brunswick reflects the great ethics and community spirit that is at its core.”
The Brunswick Organic Nursery Shop was one of nine categories of recipients at the awards held in collaboration with The Grocer.
