In a social media post, Katon's Farier said:
“There is no clue as to how or where this rumor started, but it's very important to us that we are old and new and we are definitely not on sale.”
Sadly, our area has several hospitality venues for sale now, but Farier is not one of them.
“We would be most grateful if we could help people hear such rumors and end this very tragic untruth.”
The statement added that there is also speculation that it is closed every lunchtime. Please note that we offer lunchtime services on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12pm to 2pm. ”
