The Christmas Room is back at Hotel Indigo York. It combines decorations and artefacts that reflect Christmas and York's chocolate history.
As the winter scents of The White Company fill the air, indulge in sweet blown glass baubles and rich hot chocolate from in-room Hotel Chocolat Velvetizer.
The 'Donation Tree' allows guests to donate to Yorkshire charity Safe and Sound Homes (SASH). This is part of a larger partnership between the hotel and the charity.

The hotel is also registered as a drop-off point for members of the public to donate new and wrapped Christmas gifts for the Children's Christmas Cash Mission.
Simon Grace, general manager of Hotel Indigo York, said:
“This year's experience will focus on the history of confectionery in York, as well as showcasing confectionery today. We are delighted to be working with York-based artisanal chocolate makers, Choc Affair. All guests receive a seasonal Choc Affair chocolate bar.
“We are also very proud to be working with both SASH and Cash for Kids, two charities that are very close to the heart of our team. Because we collect gifts for people during the Christmas period.”
