The Irishman scored the club's first league goal in a 1-1 draw with Notts County last night.
However, he had to come out just before the end after turning his ankle following a strong tackle from Jacob Bedau.
Pattison said: he doesn't look very good to go to his ankles. Hopefully he'll be fine.
“But I was busy for him to score a goal, and it was a great header.
“He's deserved because he's spending the day, like everyone does.”
Pattison skippered Bantam in the absence of Richie Smallwood for the first time in the midfielder's three-game ban.
But he was honest enough to admit that he could have contributed more.
“I had a chance with my left foot in the first half, and the bar and the blocked couple did well,” he added.
“I think I might have been better myself. I thought it was good that the ball was back, but maybe it was a little better with the ball.
“The young people gave it all as usual, and that was the point they got.
“I think it was a pretty good result. We had a bright moment from great players at this level, from great players to score goals.
“We could have done better to not let him shoot from there, but I think the draw was probably a fair result.
City trained today to begin preparing for the second half of Easter weekend. However, they are paying attention to other scores as they could potentially drop out of the top three by tonight.
Pattison said: “It's tight, isn't it?
“We train, but honestly, we look at other games, and that's natural.
“There are three large games left for us. We have four teams today. I'm sure we'll take a look.”
