The drink giant reminds me of some canned drinks, as it may have high levels of chlorate.
As a result, drinks pose a “food safety risk,” and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) warns.
A spokesman for the FSA said: “This product may have high levels of chlorate, which raises low food safety concerns, especially when consumed only occasionally.
Abolished British sweets/chocolate
“However, we cannot rule out adverse health effects on chlorates, particularly those with young children and consumers with pre-existing medical conditions, such as those with thyroid deficiency, blood conditions, particularly anemia and kidney disease.
“Long-term consumption of chlorate can lead to inhibition of iodine uptake, which can cause adverse health effects such as goiter.
“A single intake of chlorate (as an acute exposure) can limit the body's ability to absorb oxygen from the blood, and in severe cases can lead to kidney failure.
“If you purchase any of the above products as a precaution, do not consume them. Instead, consumers who purchase the affected products should call the Coca-Cola customer service team on 0800 227711 for assistance.”
It reminded me of Coca-Cola drinks
The recall does not affect standard dimension cans, glass or plastic bottles sold in the UK.
These are drinks that have been recalled by Coca-Cola.

Coca-Cola apologises to its customers
A spokesman for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners added: “Following ongoing dialogue with the UK Food Standards Agency, I recall a small number of imported cans of 6x250ml Appletiser multipacks sent only to UK supermarkets.
“We're removing a small amount of Coca-Cola original flavor, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Cola and Sprite Zero high imported cans.
I recommend reading:
“All affected cans have production codes from 328 GE to 338 GE at the base of the can. Most of the Coca-Cola products, including standard cans, and all glass and plastic bottles sold in the UK will not be affected.
“Independent analysis concluded that the risk of consuming these products temporarily feeling unwell is very low, in order to reassure consumers, but please call the customer service team on 0800 227711.
“Other Coca-Cola products have not been affected by this issue.
“The quality and safety of our products is our number one priority and we take this opportunity to regret that a small number of products do not meet our high standards.
What is a product recall?
If there is a problem with food that means it should not be sold, it could be “removed from the shelf” or “recall” (when the customer is asked to return the product).
The FSA can issue product withdrawal information and product recall information notifications to inform consumers and local governments of food-related issues.
In some cases, “food alerts for actions” will be issued.
This will allow local authorities to provide details of specific actions taken on behalf of the consumer.
