Regional real estate agency Dacre, Son & Hartley, has been a longtime local real estate consultant.
Charging itself as Yorkshire's largest independent real estate agency, Dakre, son & Hartley, headquartered in Ilkeley, acquired Lister Hay.
Founded in 1919 by Oswald Lister, Lister Hay offers agricultural and rural consulting, planning and development advice, home sales, rentals and property management.
“We're looking forward to seeing you in a lifetime,” said Patrick McCutcheon, Housing Director of Duckle, son & Hartley.
“The company has a very experienced team, including Catherine Johnston and Giles Chaplin, who is a large part of the future offering to further strengthen rural and development services.
“Importantly, existing clients at Lister Haigh have access to a much broader marketing and knowledge base across 18 offices, and can be accessed through a broad digital and online presence.
“Last year, we launched a new Lettings division after selling our previous portfolio in 2020.
“Lister Haigh has a largely managed home rental portfolio in North Yorkshire, and this acquisition will rapidly increase its market share growth as you reestablish yourself in the sector.”
