In the video, the 42-year-old is said to be using abusive language towards the former Liverpool manager.

As reported by BBC Sport, refereeing body PGMOL said the suspension was effective immediately and was pending a full investigation.

They said in a statement: “David Coote has been suspended with immediate effect pending a full investigation. PGMOL will make no further comment until the process is complete.”
What did David Coote allegedly say in the video?
The video has been widely shared on social media, but it's unclear when it was filmed or how authentic it is.
The comments made in the video appear to refer to the Premier League match between Liverpool and Burnley in July 2020, which ended 1-1, which Coote hosted.
Klopp criticized Couto after the game, saying the referee did not give fouls for challenges on Liverpool players.

In the video, Couto is asked his opinion on the Liverpool match, in which he was just the fourth official, and appears to describe it as “shit”.

Afterwards, when asked why he felt that way about the German, who had described Klopp in offensive terms, Coote said the German player “scored me straight when I rejected them in the game against Burnley during lockdown. '' and accused Klopp of lying.
“I'm not interested in talking to really arrogant people, so I try not to talk to them as much as possible,” Couto says.
Coote refereed Liverpool's latest Premier League game, a 2-0 win against Aston Villa on Saturday night (November 9).
