Neil Collins, manager of Osvaldwick Montessori, contacted Dean's Garden Centre in Stockton, Forest when the nursery opened recently.
He states: “One of the core principles of Montessori nursery schools is building a better community by having strong connections with the businesses and people around them.
“We encourage our very young children to show love, care and respect for all creatures, so that they can place plants in nursery where their children can care for them. You can also add water, and see the growth.
Malcolm Storey, outdoor manager at Dean's York, is pleased to donate a selection of plants to Montessori Nursery.
He states: “We are a garden center focused on family-friendly communities and are delighted to support children's learning and develop a love for gardening at an early age.”
Garden Centre's donation is the latest in a series of community-oriented gestures, including donating Christmas trees to Huxby Care Homes, supporting Yorkshire children's charities, and donating coats to children in need. It's something.
Deans York Garden Centre is part of the Garden Centre, a destination for Yorkshire Garden Centre.
