I couldn't check the time. He had scrolled down to find a discount code, but could not clearly see the small screen. And he was about to pay, but he couldn't immediately find the account he wanted to use. It was painful to witness.
You won't be fascinated by people who use watches to pay for products and services. I'm intrigued to see someone replying to the clock to see how many calories they burn after exercise and monitor their blood pressure.
Who had the crazy idea of putting your life on your wrist? Like many 21st century people, I will not participate.
I'm all about maintaining the solvent and staying healthy, but I don't want to keep my finances or my health records.
In addition to tracking your finances, the clock can now provide a wide range of physical health data, including blood pressure, heart rate, and sleep monitoring measurements.
I can't imagine the wrist-based heart rate sensor being particularly accurate, but the notification that it was not “normal” just sends my pulse race. I don't want to lift my wrists and see if it's lunchtime.
It is sufficient to ingest blood pressure on an actual blood pressure monitor, and measurements may vary widely. I can't see the watch being more reliable.

I don't want to wear something like that in bed either. I don't want to sleep knowing that every little toss and turns, every time I visit Lou, and every time I wake up and wrestled the duvet from my husband, I don't want to sleep that's been recorded. When I wake up in the morning I know if I've had a decent night's sleep, but I don't need a device to tell me. And what if you wake up with all the bright and refreshing, thinking you were sleeping soundly just to find out that your watch is for you? It will baffle you a little all day.
Interestingly, more than half of those interviewed for the new study said their smartwatches made them even more stressful about their health. Mintel Mintel warned that there may be a decline in quality of life for those who constantly track their health through their devices.
It's obviously good to monitor your health and recognize changes, but tracking it day and night certainly can't be good for us. It will quickly turn people into hypochondria.
The smartwatch also tracks the number of steps taken during the day. If you want to go for a walk, do so to enjoy yourself rather than checking the box.
The most ridiculous thing is that these watches can let you know when you're stressed out. For most people who wear them, it's probably the watch that's causing it. One of my friends had a short time, but she threw it away – she couldn't drink a glass of wine as a way to relax – without recording her like stress.
When it comes to burned calories, it's much more convenient to have a device that tells you how many you've worn per bite of Greg's steak bake. You'll soon be running to the salad bar.
