The Crooked Billet, Saxton
The Crooked Billet is very dog-friendly, with a dedicated dog-friendly area and treats for your four-legged companions on the menu. Crooked Billet offers two dog-friendly walks, surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to the Towton Battlefield Trail, perfect for a pit stop. See if you can complete the Yorkshire Pudding Challenge during your stay!

The Wheatsheaf Inn, Byrne
Dog lovers and four-legged friends are welcome at The Wheatsheaf Inn in Byrne. Guest ale, home-cooked meals, and a real fireplace for the humans and water bowl for the dogs! During your visit, you'll see memorabilia from the 578th and 431st 'Iroquois' Squadrons that were stationed at Byrne during World War II, as well as a collection of antiques and knick-knacks collected and donated by customers over the years. Lou's Tea Room, Barn
Dogs likewise receive a particularly warm welcome at Roo's Tearoom in the Burn. Located within walking distance of Selby Canal and the surrounding area, Roo's is named after owner Lizzie's dog. This tastefully decorated restaurant serves everything from breakfast to lunch, coffee/tea and cakes. For added convenience, Springfield Dog Care and Shop is located behind the cafe and will take care of all your four-legged friends' needs.

There's plenty of space for your four-legged friend to enjoy, including plenty of space and obstacles to tackle. When you're done, enjoy some delicious home-cooked food on the dog-friendly patio before strolling through the farm shop.
selby abbey
They love meeting their furry friends at Selby Abbey and are also welcome in our coffee shops. During your stay, take a tour of the monastery (we only ask that you keep your dog on a short leash inside the monastery) and enjoy locally sourced snacks at the coffee shop.

Poochie Park, Elmet's Sherburne
At Poochie Park in Sherburn, Elmet, you can rent a secure 1.5 acre paddock for your dog to run around comfortably. Enjoy the day and sample delicious homemade cakes in the beautiful community garden at Little Teapot Tearoom. Old girls' school.
