Owner Aman Dosey said: Given the huge amount of trust in local chippies, it is important that we are always on the forefront of changing our clients' dietary habits.
“As most people get their first taste of fish in the UK, we need to be more ambitious about what we have to offer for the future of the industry.
“When rising costs of doing business make everything even more uncertain, this campaign gives us the opportunity to support local fishermen and celebrate what makes the industry special.
“Fish and Chips has always brought joy when people need a pleasant meal to lift their spirits, even in the depths of winter. So customers have the opportunity to try new menu items from the UK's oceans. I look forward to being able to offer this to you.”

“As global supply disruption continues to affect the availability and costs of imported fish, the story of fish and chips is a reminder of the importance of celebrating what we have in our homes.
“By trying new sustainable British-grown species like Cornish Rock Salmon, we are working towards a circular economy, supporting local fishermen, and providing for generations to come. We continue to gather people together.”
Meanwhile, as previously reported in the press, Haxby's Millers Fish and Chips has two employees awarded the National Fish and Chip Awards. Abigail Barker and Scott Kendrew are among the 12 finalists.
