The Dust and Brush Store has moved its current operations from Pickering to the substantial complex in Amosabee near Malton, taking up 14.81 acres (5.99 hectares) of total site area.
The former home of Malton Foods Ltd was closed in 2023, and Towler Shaw Roberts' Shrewsbury Office directed the site owner to sell the property.

The family-owned company, Dustpan and Brush Store, offers its customers around the UK and through its successful online store, a wide range of brushes, brooms, dust and cleaning products.
Director Tom Thorpe said: “We currently operate in various warehouses and are located in the same property in Pickering and another property in Scarborough, so this allows all operations to be placed under one roof.”
Thorpe added that the location is a major contributor to staying in the area as it is keen to maintain its existing staff.
“Our plan is to fully operate on the new site within six months and we hope that this move will create more employment opportunities in the community,” he said.
The new Dustpan and Brush Store facility will also include a wide range of industrial/warehouses and office buildings within the former food processing plant, offering a vast yard totaling 133,805 square feet, as well as generous rear parking and further expansion land extending to 6.7 acres.
Toby Shaw, who was responsible for selling Towler Shaw Roberts on behalf of the owner, said:
“This is a very important sale for the region and indicates the continued strong demand for industrial facilities in the region.”
