Why is the DWP Christmas Bonus payout so low?

If you think you should receive your payment and have not received it by January 1st, please contact the Jobcentre Plus office or pension scheme responsible for your payment.
People who have not claimed the state pension and are not eligible to receive any of the other eligible benefits will not be able to receive the Christmas bonus.
Every person who is married, in a civil partnership or living together and who receives any of the eligible benefits will be entitled to a Christmas bonus payment.
