The press met them to meet while the filming was being held, as the filming is home to some of the oldest stained glass windows in the city.
Producer Harry Mitchell, 20, said:
“In the end, we raised funds for the film with their help, totally raising £2,500, and I am also really grateful that the Blue York where I work has put in £400.
“We have a great cast and crew with Jordan Turner playing Detective River. Kirsty Higgins as Evelyn Buchannan, Ben Glover as Detective Westfield, and Elsa Bennett as Scarlet Killer and Basker Patel will play the priests.
“We recognized Basker when he applied for the role and his voice perfectly coincided what we had in mind about the role.
“The filming is on track. We've been on for a total of six days and everything is planned so far.”

“I tend to help a lot of film and media students,” said Bhasker, who played Rishi Sharma for 12 years at Yorkshire Village and left Soap in 2023.
“They see things differently to me, so I learn a lot from them. It's a good learning curve. I'm always busy, but if I can contribute to something like this, I will.
“I'm 69 now and have been a recruiting actor since 1980, and I still love it.”
Once done, the team hopes to be screened at Blue York in the summer.
