A French cheese shop has opened at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley, near Leeds.
Metz Cheesemonger is owned by Emmanuel Metz, who has over 10 years' experience in selling cheese in both Yorkshire and France.
Her shop is located at the front of the Sandsgate factory site, a historic Edwardian factory building.
Metz said: “My new base is perfect. I couldn't be happier here. The store is visible from Town Street, Farsley's main street. I'm also part of a great factory community, so I'm happy to work with both It has its advantages.
“I want to share my passion and creativity with cheese lovers around Leeds. I see it as a fusion of French and British culture, which I am passionate about, along with cheese of course.
“I have already settled in at Sunny Bank Mills and have worked with neighboring Amity Brew Company to organize a special cheese night, and next year we will also be hosting a wine pairing night.
“That's the joy of Sunny Bank Mills, there's so much potential for collaboration between the occupiers. There's a real spirit of togetherness here.”
William Gaunt, co-managing director of Sunny Bank Mills and cousin John, said:
