The new organization will focus on delivering a wide range of community programs designed to encourage individual development, promote inclusion and improve health and well-being throughout the region.
By providing accessible soccer programs, education and outreach activities, the trust wants to empower local residents and strengthen relationships within the community.
“We are extremely excited to launch this initiative and expand Farsley Celtic's positive impact beyond the football pitch,” the Farsley Celtic board said.
“Community Trust Football is a catalyst for change and provides people of all ages with the opportunity to engage in football, develop new skills, thrive and become part of a supportive community.
“Our aim is to inspire and unite people through sports, creating lasting opportunities for personal growth and happiness.
“The Trust offers a range of programs, including youth development sessions, women and girls football initiatives, disability soccer, and health and fitness activities aimed at improving physical and mental well-being.
“We will create accessible pathways for participants to move from grassroots football to higher-level play, focusing on promoting teamwork, respect and social inclusion at every stage.”
The board added: “We want to create an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of their background or ability, can benefit from football and feel like an important part of the community.
