The Lions had a good run at home, eventually defeating Bamber Bridge 3-1 on New Year's Day. With this result, the Nethermoor side remain unbeaten in 14 matches in the Northern Premier League (Premier Division).
It has been a fantastic season for Guiseley so far under the guidance of former Bradford (Park Avenue) manager and Bradford City player Mark Bower.
His team currently sits second in the division and is well placed to finish the season in the playoffs.
Goals from Leo Farrell, Will Longbottom and Gabriel Johnson earned the hosts all three points on Wednesday to maintain their unbeaten record.
Guiseley's first goal came in the 25th minute when Farrell ran in to a wonderful through ball and calmly scored the goal.
Sadly, the striker was forced to withdraw due to injury and was replaced by Johnson just before the interval.
Alex Kenyon equalized for the visitors just two minutes after falling behind, but it did not prevent the Lions from going for another goal.
However, despite creating a number of chances to regain the advantage, Guiseley had to wait until the 70th minute to get back in front, which they did brilliantly.
Prince Ekpolo made a typical barnstorming run before prolific forward Longbottom darted home.
Substitute Johnson scored from a great cross from Lewis Witham, sealing Guiseley's victory.

He said: “Overall it was a good performance. We created a lot of chances in the first half and should have taken a comfortable lead but we didn't convert those chances and allowed Bamberbridge to come back into the game.
“I was really happy when the half-time whistle went, they started to take control heading into half-time and we had time to fine-tune a few things.
“From then on we felt we had things under control and if we had gotten the second goal we could have added more goals than we did.
“I'm happy to have finished the job, especially with how the pitch looked before the game. It was raining a lot, so it was more difficult to play football.”
Guiseley will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Workington for a 3pm kick-off.
Elsewhere, the match between Brighouse and Emley has been postponed following a pitch inspection by the referee, with a new match date to be announced in due course.
As for Farsley Celtic, although they have improved recently by winning their last two league games, the Celtic team suffered a crushing 3-0 defeat against Radcliffe, which could lead to a decisive relegation scrap. There was also sex.
Radcliffe are currently in the final relegation place, but after Saturday's decisive win they are now just three points clear of Farsley, who are one place above them in the table.
Bradley Allen-Jackson, Matt Sargent and Jordan-Martin-Hulme scored three goals to ensure the victory for the hosts.
