The West Yorkshire Police's operating Steeride team found a vehicle on Harrogate Road, east of the city.
Officer's attention was drawn due to its non-compliant license plate.
A roadside inquiry confirmed that the driver was disqualified and uninsured.
The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported for the crime.
The Operation Steerside X account post states, “Our attention has been paid to this @BMW from Harrogate Rd @wyp_bradforde.

Operation Steeride was founded in 2016, two months after Telegraph & Argus launched its “Stop Danger Drivers” campaign.
