The 1,561-square-foot store is complete with a fresh look and feel, and includes the best of the company's new food and sports range, including the latest range of health and wellness solutions from Holland & Barrett's L (H&B).
All of the Scarborough teams of H&B experts are qualified to advise customers to provide personalized support for their wellness goals. This includes women's health coaches who provide a deeper level of expertise and confidential support regarding hormonal health.
Manager Carol Norris said: “This is a very exciting opportunity to launch a new, improved store in the heart of Scarborough High Street. Our knowledgeable store colleagues have over 30 years of experience in H&B and can help our customers in a variety of languages, including English, Spanish, German, and African.
This latest opening is part of a continuing investment in retail stores in Holland & Barrett, which will stimulate the store experience through revival, relocation and opening new stores. H&B invested c. £70 million to transform stores, technology and new product development, including opening and renovating more than 200 stores in the UK. Through FY25, H&B is investing in at least one store per day in its UK and Ireland store refresh and renovation program.
Sustainability is at the heart of a new store that is being replenished with mild steel, a 100% recyclable material, along with FSC certified wood. LED power lighting is designed to be more efficient, reduce energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions. Through H&B's store conversion program, recycled materials are used from as old as possible from stores to minimize waste.
The new store highlights also include a new food range created by H&B expert nutritionists and chefs, which will help support wellness needs such as gut health and skin support. H&B's new Trie sports nutrition range can also be seen in stores, and consists of 16 new products backed by science and designed to support performance, recovery and focus. Customers can buy the new range with 20% off until April 29th.
