The owner of Idle GreenGrocers spoke to T&A and took him to social media to express his anger over the incident on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Idol Green Glockers said:
“We need to not only reduce stocks, but we also try to clean the village as much as possible.
“We won't get anything back for what we lost.”
She described the incident as “bad.”
It is understood that it was linked to an incident at the idol's Bradford Road cooperative store before 7am on Wednesday.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident and “full inquiries are pending.”
A spokesperson said: “Inquiries remained ongoing regarding the incident involving the two stores yesterday.”
