The TV chef recently visited Denbigh Pottery in Derbyshire and revealed his 'special' tips for making 'the best'.

James Martin shows us the best way to make Christmas gravy
James explained in a Denbigh Pottery TikTok video: It's very easy. Making gravy from turkey is very difficult.
“The best way is to go to the supermarket and you’ll see little bags of stock, sometimes it’s veal stock, sometimes it’s chicken stock.
“In any case, we prepare two pouches for about four people, which is about 1 liter.
“Prepare a glass of wine, an appropriate amount of butter, and about 30 to 40 grams of butter, put everything in a pot, and simmer for about 10 minutes.''
He added: “When the butter is reduced, it emulsifies into a sauce. Remove it from the heat, season it and put it in the freezer and it's ready for Christmas.

“That's the best way to make the sauce, because if you try to get that stock at Christmas time, it's all sold out. Because chefs like me buy it and make huge pots of it.” Because it makes a difference.”
