Killing Eve star Jody Kommer will perform Susie Miller's award-winning Prima Fire at Grand Opera House York from February 17th to 21st, 2026.
Tickets for the production, which Susie Miller won the Olivier Award for Best Play, will be on sale at noon on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025.
Jody won the Olivier Award when he made his theatrical debut in production at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London, and then won a Tony Award when the play was moved to Broadway.
“It's a great privilege to go back to Prima Face at one time and play this important game on tours in the UK and Ireland,” Jody said.
I recommend reading:
“In both London and New York, the resonance of Susie Miller's writing was beyond anything we could imagine.
“I'm very excited to have the opportunity to bring the team back to theatres across the country, including their hometown in Liverpool. In my personal notes, I can't think of a better finale for what has been an incredibly deeply and rewarding chapter in my life.”
In the role of a young barrister called Tessa, unexpected events force her to confront the patriarchy of law, the burden of proof, and her own morals.
Susie Miller added: “I couldn't be more excited about the Prima Facie 2026 tour. The play has achieved more than we all dreamed of, and Jody's commitment to the story reaching many new venues and communities allows more people to become part of the conversation and part of the solution.”
