The heavy metal legends bring their Shield of Pain Tour to the Yorkshire coast as part of TK Maxx Presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre.
The band is scheduled to headline on Wednesday, July 23rd, which also marks the 35th anniversary of their Painkiller album.
The Scarborough appearance is one of at least two confirmed dates for Judas Priest in the UK next year, with another scheduled to take place at London's O2.
Judas Priest said: “This rare and unique set of beloved classics will live up to the metal faith as a truly memorable experience.”
Formed in Birmingham in 1969, Judas Priest released songs in the 1970s including Sin After Sin, Stained Class, Hell Bent for Leather (also known as Killing Machine) and the live album Unleashed in the East. , has released numerous albums.
This period produced songs such as Sinner, Diamonds and Rust, Hell Bent for Leather, and The Green Manalishi (With the Two-Proged Crown).
The 1980s and 1990s saw the release of albums such as British Steel, Point of Entry, Screaming for Vengeance and Defenders of the Faith.
In 2022, band members Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, Ian Hill, and Scott Travis were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Alice Cooper.
Their 19th studio album, Invincible Shield, was released earlier this year.
The band is also nominated for the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance (the 67th Grammy Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on February 2, 2025).
Supporting Judas Priest in Scarborough will be Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons.
Originally formed as a side project by former Motörhead guitarist Campbell, the band officially launched in 2016 after deciding to “take things to the next level.”
Their debut album The Age Of Absurdity won the trophy for Best Debut Album at the 2018 Metal Hammer Germany Awards.
