Officers found it in the basement of an office building on Nelson Street.
Police are currently at the scene and officers are conducting an investigation.
One nearby resident told the T&A that the scale of the discovery was “huge”, adding that the location was not far from City Hall, on the same street as Trafalgar House police station, and was very “blatant”. . The resident added that police may be on the scene for some time.
West Yorkshire Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police told the Telegraph & Argus just after 2pm: “Officers from Bradford Local Policing Team were working in the basement of an office building in Nelson Street, Bradford this morning. We found a large cannabis plant being grown there.
“Police are currently conducting an investigation at the scene.
“Anyone with any information or who has witnessed any suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact police via 101 or use the live chat option at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat. (quoting log 358 of November 25th).
