As 2024 draws to a close, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported Dogs Trust this year.
Your generosity and dedication has made a huge difference to dogs in need.
With your help, we are proud to have found thousands of new homes for dogs this year. We made sure these dogs were cared for in a safe and happy place while they waited for their forever families.
None of this would be possible without our dedicated Dogs Trust team and army of volunteers who selflessly give their time and energy to support our work.
Every moment our dogs spend with us, from walking and playing with them, to helping with administrative tasks, to tackling piles of laundry at the center, to reading to them in the kennel, is a blessing in disguise. It brings about big changes.
Our foster homes also play an important role in providing temporary homes for dogs until they find their forever families.
We are deeply grateful to all of them.
We have also been inspired by the fundraising support we have received throughout this year.
Whether it's running a marathon, climbing a mountain, or participating in an event, each effort helps us exceed our mission.
This generosity also allows us to provide services that connect dogs and their owners, including our free behavioral support line, which helped more than 7,000 dog owners last year.
We also offer training classes through our dog school. Many rehoming centers and charity shops also run pet food banks to help owners meet the needs of their dogs.
The support we receive works with charities that support people experiencing homelessness or fleeing domestic abuse, and can also keep loyal dogs and devoted owners together in the most difficult of circumstances. means.
So, as we welcome the new year, on behalf of everyone at Dogs Trust, I would like to wish all of our supporters all the best in the new year. We look forward to helping dogs find their forever homes and keep them happy dogs. We will do our best for the welfare of dogs.
