The man suffered a facial injury yesterday (Monday, March 31st) at 9am after an attack in a parking lot on the top of Staxton Hill near Sherburn.
A North Yorkshire police spokesman said the man “did not require hospital treatment.”
Officers are urging people to contact the incident.
“If you could have witnessed an incident or had footage of a dashcam of an incident, it would be particularly appealing to anyone who would have been in the area at the time,” a police spokesman said.
