Mark and Claire Ogresby purchased Tiger Inn at Conaythorpe last fall and reopened at the end of January after renovations, including Kitchen Refit.
When the press called at 12:30pm on Friday lunch (yesterday), the parking lot was almost full, with 112 cover pubs and restaurants full of drinkers and diners keen to sample home cooking fares.
Mark said the business is “great” and villagers and locals are pleased that the pub is back.
I recommend reading:
Tiger Inn had previously been closed for 18 months, but continued to its second fire in a few years.
Mark previously ran Bay Horse in Goldsborough, where he and Claire still ran the 400-year-old Goldboro Hall as a five-star hotel and wedding venue.
A Telecoms entrepreneur told the press:
Located in the picturesque Coneythorpe near the A1 highway, Tiger Inn is a destination where people travel for delicious food.

Managed by Operations Director Neil Dougan, former manager Heidi has returned to the front of the house, and Tom Taylor Skyfe is also back as chef.
A variety of menus are available, with lunchtime mainly sandwiches available at all times. There is also a Sunday lunch menu and a “Tiger Cubs” (children).
Mark is the most popular because food has been served since early February, and seafood pancakes are the most popular, while fish and chips are the most popular. Friday's “Parmo Night” is also very popular with the taste of Teesside's Parmesan atrium chicken and topped with cheddar.
Approximately 40 wines are available “at a sensible price” along with the rotation of Beer, Cider, Spirits, Teakston, Timothy Taylor's landlord and Daleside.
Tiger Inn also sells Jeremy Clarkson's Hawkstone Lager and Cider, and was one of the first to use taps in the area.

I looked around and despite the warm day the fire was lit. There was also more than enough rooms in a place where tiger paintings, wallpapers and ornaments highlighted the pub's memorable name.
The drinkers and diners enjoyed themselves. It has been confirmed online in recent reviews.
TripAdvisor reviews are usually five stars, with recent acclaim focusing on fish and chips and Sunday roast, as well as a “cozy North Yorkshire Pub.”
Similarly, Google, which praises 4.6 stars out of five, emphasizes Sunday roast, “nice atmosphere” and “really good service,” and the venue is dog-friendly.
Mark added: “We are optimistic about the future. We look forward to the busyness of the summer and the tiger back.”
