Manchester-based MCR Group has purchased Grade A Moorside privately.
The 69,351 square feet two-storey scheme features tenants such as Aviva, Garbutt & Elliott, Rollits Solicitors, Portakabin and Shepherd Group.
The MCR says it will prioritize tenant engagement and will work with existing asset management teams to ensure a smooth, positive transition and introduce dialogue that will help shape the site's strategic future.

Fund Director Martin Brown said: “This is a significant acquisition of MCR that will strengthen our position in this region of the country that has not only the office sector but also other active projects in Bridlington and surrounding areas.
“We are perfectly in line with the demands of our modern business environment, building these highly needed portfolios and creating smart, versatile and creative spaces that support business growth.
“York is a vital location in the region and is considered a commercial hub for Yorkshire, attracting businesses keen to make this thriving city the headquarters. Our aim is to integrate the Moorside position as a key commercial location between now and the future.”
Martin added: “While this site has ambitious plans, our immediate focus is to ensure that the transition is positive for all parties involved.”
