The next storm to be named is Storm Éowyn, which could put lives at risk as strong winds hit northern England later this week.
Forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning for all of Bradford from midnight to 11.59pm on Friday, January 24.

The Met Office said the following can be expected in areas of West Yorkshire where yellow wind warnings were issued on Friday:
Damage to buildings may occur, including tiles being blown off roofs Power outages may occur, which may impact other services such as mobile phone coverage Roads, railways, Air and ferry services may be affected, with longer journey times and possible cancellations. Some roads and bridges may be closed. Flying debris and large wave and beach material being thrown onto beaches, coastal roads and land may cause injury and risk to life.
The weather experts added: “Storm Éowyn is expected to pass near or over the north-west of England on Friday, clearing to the north-east on Saturday (January 25).”
“While there is some uncertainty about Éowyn's path, very strong winds are likely, initially turning south-east to west, up to 60-70 mph inland, and along some coasts and hills. Wind gusts of 80 to 90 mph (possibly higher in some places) are possible.

What should I do during a yellow wind warning?
The National Weather Service says, “Be prepared to protect your property and people from injury. Check outside your home for loose items and plan how to secure them. Items include: Includes: trash cans, garden furniture, trampolines, tents, sheds, fences, etc.
“Windy weather can cause delays and make travel conditions hazardous. Follow these simple steps to prepare before your trip. Check bus and train timetables and If you are driving, check the road conditions and make sure you have the essentials in the car: warm clothing, food, water, blankets, a flashlight, and an in-car cell phone charger. Please.
