Morrisons currently has 497 branches across the UK, serving 11 million customers each week.
A Morrisons spokesperson said the company had undertaken a review of its “people structure”.
It added: “Therefore, we are proposing to remove the roles of Regional HR Manager, Store HR Manager, and Case Specialist from our organization. This means that colleagues in these roles are at risk of redundancy. That means there is.”

“The new structure will consist of a number of new core roles that will directly support the supermarkets, in addition to central HR support and additional employee relations roles.”
Staff in the 'at risk' group will now enter a 45-day consultation process.
The move follows new plans by Sainsbury's to cut more than 3,000 jobs, close its in-store cafes and remove pizza and hot food counters from its stores.
The job losses, which will affect about 2% of the company's 148,000 employees, include 20% of senior management being laid off over the next few months as part of a corporate restructuring.
The move comes ahead of plans to increase employer national insurance contributions announced in October's Budget.
Sainsbury's said at the time that the budget changes would mean an additional £140m of costs, with chief executive Simon Roberts warning that it could result in “tough choices”.
Asda also announced job cuts in November last year.
Following the announcement, a Downing Street spokesperson said the “difficult decisions” in the Budget would help pave the way for economic growth.
