The leading high street bank currently has over 520 branches across the UK and the NatWest Group boasts over 19 million customers.
NatWest Group, which also owns Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Ulster Bank, has already closed a number of stores in recent years.
It closed 48 branches in 2024, compared to nearly 20 the year before.

It now plans to close a further 53 NatWest branches by 2025.
NatWest said: “Banking has changed dramatically in recent years, and demand for mobile and online services is increasing as our customers benefit from faster and easier banking transactions.
“Closing a branch is a decision we take very seriously.
“We are aware that this may have an impact on people who are unsure of the alternatives we offer. We are always committed to guiding and supporting our customers through change and to better serve them going forward. We will do our best to find the best way.”
