Alt Index's rankings using Netflix's Top 25 Christmas Movies list found that festive movies like “The Holiday,” “Let It Snow,” and “The Christmas Chronicles” made it to this year's good list.
It was Klaus that topped the list with a score of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes and a rating of 8.2/10 on IMDB.
The 2019 animated adventure comedy film is based on an unlikely friendship between a selfish Christmas mailman and a reclusive toymaker.
“Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey” took second place on the list, and “The Christmas Chronicles” took third place.
The Holiday, starring Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Jack Black, came in fourth thanks to its combination of comedy, star-studded cast and happy ending.
Meanwhile, Alien Xmas and Let It Snow finished the top five in a tie for fifth place.

“The magic of the holidays isn’t just on the website, downloads of the Netflix app have also skyrocketed in recent months. As the Christmas season approaches, app usage in November increased by 1.5%, with daily downloads increasing. The number was estimated at 222,720.

“According to statistics from Alt Index, the streaming giant has seen a staggering 33.9% increase in Google Trends searches over the past three months.”
