Most of the UK is under weather warnings, with the UK facing strong winds, heavy rain and snow in the new year.
Blackpool's New Year's Eve fireworks have already been canceled due to strong winds expected in the northwest of England tomorrow night.
Below is the weather forecast across the UK for the next few days, including the start of the new year.
england
Four yellow weather warnings have been issued for different parts of England over the coming days, including one for Monday 30th December.
A yellow wind warning is in place for the North Pennines and Yorkshire Dales from 11am to 6pm.
It warned of possible disruption to travel in the region and the possibility of short-term power outages.
Another yellow wind warning will be issued from 7am on New Year's Eve. It covers the North East of England to Bridlington in East Yorkshire and Carlisle in the North West.
The warning of “strong westerly winds” that could lead to traffic problems on New Year's Eve is in place until 11pm.
Two warnings will then be issued in England on New Year's Day.
The first is due to strong winds and will cover parts of southern England and the West Midlands from 7am to 11:59pm on January 1st.
The second is due to heavy rainfall and will cover much of the North West, including areas such as Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester, parts of Liverpool, Preston and north towards High Bentham.
This warning will last from 6pm on New Year's Eve until 6pm on New Year's Day.

Wales is under a yellow weather warning for rain on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
The warning covers central Wales from the north coast to the south and will be in place from 6pm on New Year's Eve until 6pm on New Year's Day.
Scotland
There are five different weather warnings in place for Scotland over the next four days, including a more severe Amber warning.
The first warning was for rain and snow, covering most of Scotland, and warned the weather “could cause significant disruption to preparations for the new year”.
It is in effect until 11.59pm tonight, including Monday, and warns some homes and businesses may be flooded and travel services may be delayed.
The Orkney Islands are not covered by the current warning, but are subject to a separate warning for snow that will continue from 5am until midnight on New Year's Eve.
There is also an Amber Warning in place for central Scotland from midnight tonight until 5pm tomorrow.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said that the rain “could cause some facilities to flood and disrupt travel.”
A new storm warning will also be in place for parts of southern Scotland, including Edinburgh and Glasgow, from 7am to 11pm on New Year's Eve.

A yellow warning for snow and ice is in place for northern Scotland from midnight on January 1st until 9am on January 2nd.
Northern Ireland
A yellow weather warning will be in place for much of Northern Ireland, including Belfast, Londonderry, Coleraine and Larne, from 6am to 7pm on New Year's Eve.
The whole of Northern Ireland, from Derry to Enniskillen and Newry to Ballycastle, was put under a yellow weather warning for “heavy and continuing snow” from 7am to 11.59pm on New Year's Day, but the Met Office has now suspended that warning. Canceled. .
