The track, which began streaming today (November 20), explores introspection and the importance of finding solace outside of societal norms.
Produced by James Kenosha, the track maintains Pinder's lyrical integrity while evolving into a fuller, band-driven sound.
“I wanted to write about being a person who doesn't want to be part of the party,” Pinder said.
“I remember the day before I finished my plans early and my head was full of thoughts and I just wanted to crawl into bed and shut out the world.
“I was chatting with a friend who resonates with these thoughts, and I realized I needed to write something that would celebrate some of my deepest insecurities in a light-hearted way while also discussing some of my deepest insecurities. Because at the end of the day, everyone experiences it and feels that way.
The release of 'Lonely Together' comes ahead of Pinder's biggest local headline show yet.
He will face Leeds' Brudenell Social Club on February 28, with doors opening at 7pm.
