Keigy's Cliff Castle hosted Opera North on Saturday with two performances of Cinderella for ages 8 and under.
The performance took place in the museum's magnificent Bracewell-Smith Hall, and dozens of families gathered to hear a unique interpretation of the classic fairy tale.
Many of the children were experiencing opera for the first time, and they encouraged their participation by singing along and waving canes they had made as crafts before the performance.
The event was one of many scheduled between now and early May at the Bradford Council-run museum.
Concerts are held monthly in the hall, with the Bradford Concert Band performing for the first time on Sunday.
The Howarth Band, a top local brass band, will perform on February 16th, while the Minster Minsters and Lucienne de Ville Cabaret will perform on March 16th. Both use traditional early instruments.
The Bradford Accordion Band will perform at the museum on April 13th.
Discuss the musical ties to the building's former owners, the Butterfield family.
Sid Lost the Beat will be a family-friendly show on February 18th featuring puppetry, drumming, dancing and rapping.
And on May 4, people will be invited to enjoy the sounds of nature at sunrise at Cliff Castle Park. The Dawn Chorus event begins at 4:30am.
